CompTIA Tech+ Reddit

CompTIA Tech+ Certification

When I first started preparing, I checked Reddit for CompTIA Tech+ advice. It was helpful for motivation, but the real studying came from practice. People often mentioned PBQs and port numbers, which matched my experience.

What made the difference for me was using Tech+ practice tests. Reddit gave me community stories, but SkillTestPro gave me the exam simulation I needed.

For example, I read on Reddit that many candidates struggled with database questions. I took that seriously, drilled SQL basics in SkillTestPro’s tests, and ended up breezing through those on exam day.

So here’s what I’d recommend:

  • Use Reddit for tips and motivation.
  • Don’t rely on random posts for study.
  • Stick to structured practice like SkillTestPro.

Without both, I wouldn’t have scored a 720/900.
