CompTIA Tech+ Book Recommendations

CompTIA Tech+ Certification

Searching for “CompTIA Tech+ book recommendations”? I passed the
FC0-U71 exam with a 715 after 10 hours of study, using a borrowed
study guide. As an IT beginner with basic PC skills, I was thrilled to hit
the 650/900 passing score. Here’s my guide to the best CompTIA Tech+
books and how I passed.
The CompTIA Tech+ (FC0-U71), launched July 2024, costs $135 for 75
questions in 60 minutes, covering IT fundamentals, hardware, software, databases, programming, and security. I used Quentin Docter’s
CompTIA IT Fundamentals Study Guide, which is beginner-friendly
despite being ITF+-branded. Mike Meyers’ CompTIA IT Fundamentals All-in-One Exam Guide is another great option. I borrowed Docter’s
book and skimmed key chapters on hardware and security.
I supplemented with Professor Messer’s FC0-U71 videos ( 100 watched)
and Skilltestpro tech+ practice tests, averaging 75
