CompTIA Tech+ multiple choice questions

CompTIA Tech+ Certification

When I sat for the CompTIA Tech+ exam, most of the test was made up of multiple choice questions. At first, I thought multiple choice would be easy, but CompTIA has a way of making the options tricky.

For example, I got a question about identifying the best troubleshooting step. All four answers sounded right, but only one matched the official troubleshooting model. Practicing with Tech+ practice tests helped me learn how to read carefully and avoid falling for distractors.

Tips that worked for me:

  • Eliminate obviously wrong answers first.
  • Watch for keywords like “first” or “most effective.”
  • Don’t overthink, it’s usually simpler than it looks.

By practicing dozens of multiple choice sets, I felt more comfortable in the real exam. My score jumped because I learned how CompTIA phrases questions.
